Growing up I loved taking photographs and feeling that anticipation waiting for the prints to be developed and delivered. I spent a lot of years hovering somewhere between snapshots for fun and photographs as artistic expression. Fifteen years ago, I bought my first DSLR and started learning what all those buttons are for.

After years of working professionally capturing architecture and interiors in the Pacific Northwest, I moved across the country and settled on a farm in rural Maine. I'm no longer pursuing client work, but instead I'm putting my efforts toward creating a fine art portfolio. Nature is still my favorite subject and although I have captured many sunsets during our ten years living on Vashon Island, my new fascination is with the sunrise.
